Who’s minding the farm in this climate emergency?

Who’s minding the farm in this climate emergency?’ by Dr Patrice Newell is a detailed look at all aspects of the farming industry, and a call to action for every citizen to take responsibility. Patrice examines some of the problems for Australian farming, including the neglect and abuse of land by farmers, degradation of soil over time, and its impact on the food we eat.

Dr Patrice Newell became an organic farmer in the Hunter Valley in 1987 after a career in modelling, journalism and television. She grows garlic, makes olive oil and keeps bees.

The author talk is followed by question time and the opportunity for book signing.

There is seating for 100 people and standing room is available.

Seating is on a first come, first served basis.
